Salazar’s Style
Critics, dealers and connoisseurs have tried to name a style that is representative of Salazar’s work, and although they do not always agree on how to define her style with respect to her subject matter, they agree that Salazar achieves compositions in which color and light create an aura of stillness and peace. Her human forms, mostly women and children, live in this fantastic place, narrating and dreaming about their lives and drawing the viewer into their world to in turn reflect on his or her own life. |
